Understanding the World: A Mom’s Perspective on Current Issues

My name is Maggie and I’m a mom, wife, friend, and nurse. I decided to start this blog because of my children. They have many questions about what is presently happening in the world today. I try to explain it the simplest way possible so they understand. This got me thinking, there are probably many other parents that struggle with answering the questions kids have. I want to help parents explain to their children what is happening and the possible outcomes.

I will talk about what is happening and what it means using both facts and opinions. I will try to discuss topics in a way that helps other parents. I welcome questions, comments, peaceful debates, and topic ideas. I will talk candidly and openly about any topic whether it’s political, economical, personal, etc. As a nurse, I rely on evidence-based practices and content. I believe in using research and facts when speaking on a topic and looking at both sides of an issue.
